Equipment

  • Measuring Cups
  • Pan
  • Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 pieces Chopped Green Chilli
  • 8 pieces Curry leaves
  • 1 piece Onion Chopped
  • ¼ cup Sweet Corn
  • ¼ cup Chopped Beans
  • ¼ cup Chopped Carrot
  • ½ cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ sachet Maggi Masala
  • ½ cup Chopped Corriander Leaves

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl, add quinoa and wash it thoroughly.
    1 cup Quinoa
  • Take a pan, add washed quinoa, water and salt. Mix with a spatula, close the lid and cook on a medium flame for 20-30 minutes.
    4 cup Water, 1 tsp Salt
  • Check if the quinoa is cooked, turn off the flame and close with the lid.
  • Take a pan, add oil and heat. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Roast for a few seconds.
    2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp Mustard Seeds, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • add curry leaves, green chill and onion. Roast on high flame for 2-3 minutes.
    2 pieces Chopped Green Chilli, 8 pieces Curry leaves, 1 piece Onion
  • add Sweet Corn, Carrot, Beans and roast for 2 minutes.
    ¼ cup Sweet Corn, ¼ cup Chopped Beans, ¼ cup Chopped Carrot
  • add Tomatoes and roast for 2 minutes. Add salt, mix it thoroughly.
    ½ cup Chopped Tomatoes, 1 tsp Salt
  • add cooked quinoa, mixed thoroughly on low flame and add Maggi masala. Mix it thoroughly.
    ½ sachet Maggi Masala
  • Close the lid and let it cook for 2 mins on low flame. Remove the lid, add coriander leaves and mix it. Turn off the flame and transfer into a bowl.
    ½ cup Chopped Corriander Leaves
  • Serve on a plate using a bowl and garnish with a few coriander leaves. Quinoa Pulao is ready.

Notes

It can be a morning breakfast or meals as well. It is best to serve hot.
