Take a Pan, Add Milk and Sugar for boiling on High flame. Stir so that nothing gets stuck at bottom of the pan.
2 Cup Milk, ½ Cup Sugar
Boil until the milk quantity gets Half then add Desiccated Coconut and mix it on low flame
1 Cup Desiccated Coconut
Add Milk Powder, mix it and stir it on low flame until the mixture becomes thick.
¼ Cup Milk Powder
Add Corn Syrup and mix it. It is optional. This is perfect binding.
2 tbsp Corn Syrup
Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down. The Coconut filling is ready.
Chocolate Body for Modak
Take Chocolate in a double boiler and melt.
250 Grams Milk Chocolate
When the chocolate melts completely. Remove from flame and stir for a smooth consistency.
Take the modak mould, add a spoon of chocolate to the mould and spread it across equally with the help of mould. Remove the excess chocolate. Refer to the video for a better understanding of this step.
Refrigerate for 5 mins. The Chocolate layer becomes hard. Repeat the same process again so that it gets a double layer. Repeat for other moulds too.
Now fill it with Coconut filling. Leave a small space on the top.
Fill the space with chocolate. Refrigerate for 15 Mins. Remove the mould slowly, Chocolate modak is ready.

If the coconut mixture is left, then the same can be given the shape of Modak.As the chocolate melts, keep it in a cool place or refrigerator.
