Ingredients

Basmati Rice

Milk
Cow's Milk

Cardamom Powder

Sugar

Chopped Almonds

Raisins

tbsp
Chopped Pistachio

Chironji
Instructions
Take
½ cup Basmati Rice
in a bowl and wash it thoroughly. Then soak it in water for 20 minutes.
Take a pan and boil
1 lt Milk
. Now add the rice to milk leaving the water in bowl. And cook it for 15 mins while stirring gently.
Now add
1 tsp Cardamom Powder
and
¼ cup Sugar
. Mix it and let it cook on low flame.
Take a ladle and heat
2 tbsp Ghee
, then add
3 tbsp Chopped Almonds
,
3 tbsp Chopped Cashews
,
3 tbsp Raisins
,
3 tbsp Chopped Pistachio
, and
3 tbsp Chironji
.
Fry it and then transfer to the milk pan. Mix it and cook for 2 minutes. Rice Kheer is ready.

Notes
Rice kheer can be served hot as well as can be cooled down a little bit and then serve. It is like one of the desserts.
