Daliya Kheer is a creamy and delicious, sweet made by cooking cracked wheat (daliya) with milk and Jaggery. It is flavored with cardamom and garnished with nuts, creating a comforting and nutritious sweet dish. This hearty and comforting kheer is often enjoyed during festivals and special occasions. Using Jaggery instead of sugar in this sweet will help for weight loss.
Take a claypot and heat 4 tbsp Ghee on medium flame. Then add 1 cup Daliya (Broken Wheat) and roast it 3-4 minutes or until the color turns white.
Now add 2 lt Milk and let it boil on medium flame. Keep stirring gently for evenly heating. Once there is a boil lower the flame and cook for 20 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Now add ¼ cup Almonds, 2 tbsp Melon Seeds, and 1 tsp Cardamom Powder. Mix them gently and cook for 3 minutes more.
Now turn off the flame and add 300 gms Jaggery either grated or in form of small pieces. Now mix gently and close with the lid for 10-15 minutes. Now again mix it gently. Daliya ki Kheer is ready.

It can be served hot or cold. You can add other dry fruits like cashews, raisins etc... according to your health.
