Lal Mirch Halwa which is made using seasonal red chillies offers a unique blend of sweet and spicy flavors, creating an unforgettable experience with every bite. It's a bold fusion of flavors that tantalizes your taste buds and becomes a memorable experience in your culinary journey.
Take 250 gms Red Chillis and wash it and remove the end parts. Now slice from one side and remove the seeds using spoon, repeat this to all red chilles.
Now 2 Cooking pans and fill them with water. In first one boil the water and add all the Red Chillis and boil it for 5 minutes.
Now remove the chillis using tongs to a plate and drain the water. Add fresh water and repeat the same process for 4 times for 3-4 minutes each.
Now take the red chillis in a bowl and soak them in normal water for 5 minutes. Then remove them using tongs and transfer it to a grinder jar. Grind it to a fine paste.
Now take a pan and heat 2 tbsp Ghee on medium flame. Then add Red Chilli Paste in it and fry it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Now add 250 gms Mawa / Khoya, ½ cup sugar, and 1 tsp Cardamom Powder. Mix them thoroughly. Keep stirring for 5 minutes on medium flame until there is thick texture.
Final step is to add ½ cup Chopped Almonds and Cashews and mix it. Turn off the flame and transfer to a container. Lal Mirch ka Halwa is ready.
