Experience the tangy and flavorful delight of Raw Mango Rice, a refreshing South Indian dish made with grated raw mango, cooked rice, and a blend of aromatic spices. Take 2 cup Rice in a bowl and wash thoroughly. Soak it for 20 minutes in water.
Take a pressure cooker and fill it with 2½ cup Water. Heat until it gets a boil.
Now add ½ tsp Salt and 2 tsp Oil. Mix it.
Now add the soaked rice draining its water. Mix it and close the lid.
Cook on medium flame until first whistle and then turn off the flame.
Let the cooker's pressure comedown and then open the lid. It took 15 minutes. Transfer to a big bowl and let the rice cool down completely.
Take 1 no Raw Mango and remove the upper layer and then grate it.
Take Steel Kadhai and heat 3 tbsp Oil.
Now add ½ tsp Mustard Seeds, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 2 tbsp Chickpea, 2 tbsp Black Lentil, ¼ cup Groundnut, ¼ tsp Asafoetida and 12 nos Curry Leaves. Stir it and fry.
Add 3 nos Green Chilli, mix it. Add ½ tsp Turmeric Powder and 1 tsp Salt and mix it.
Add grated Raw mango and mix it for a minute.
Add Rice now. Mix it for 2 minutes. Garnish with ¼ bunch Chopped Corriander Leaves and mix it. Raw Mango Rice is ready.
