Equipment

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Steel Kadhai
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Small bowl

Instructions
 

  • Take 1 kg Beetroot and clean them using water and remove the outer layer using peeler. Then grate all the beetroots using grater.
  • Take a kadhai and heat 2 tbsp Ghee, then add ¼ cup Chopped Almonds and Cashews and fry till it becomes crunchy. Remove them using spatula in a small bowl.
  • Now add grated beetroot in same ghee. Now cook on low flame. Keep mixing up and down so that evenly cooking can be done.
  • Make fresh Cardamom Powder using 12 nos. Cardamom using available tools.
  • Now after 5 minutes, beetroot is seeming to become dry. Add 4 tbsp Ghee and mix. Then add 300 gm Jaggery and mix well.
  • Now add 250 gm Mawa/Khoya and 1tsp Cardamom powder. Mix and keep stirring while on low flame.
  • Now add fried Dry fruits and mix it. Beetroot Halwa is ready.
