Ingredients
- 2 no Raw mango
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1½ tsp Fennel Seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Nigella Seeds
- ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds
- ¼ tsp Asafoetida
- ½ tsp Black Salt
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 glass water
- ½ cup Jaggery
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Chat Masala
Instructions
- Take 2 no Raw mango, wash it and then peel off the cover and using knife make medium size pieces.
- Take a steel kadhai and heat 2 tbsp Oil for a minute then add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 1½ tsp Fennel Seeds, 1 tsp Mustard Seeds, 1 tsp Nigella Seeds, ¼ tsp fenugreek seeds, and ¼ tsp Asafoetida. Mix and Roast all of them for 2 minutes.
- Now add raw mango pieces and fry for two minutes. Now add ½ tsp Black Salt, ½ tsp Turmeric Powder, ½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes, ½ tsp Salt, and 1 tsp Coriander powder. Fry for a minute on low flame.
- Now add 2 glass water and mix it. Then add ½ cup Jaggery, 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, and 1 tsp Chat Masala. Mix it and let it get a boil.
- Now close the lid and let it cook on medium flame for 20-25 minutes so that raw mango pieces become soft, mix occasionally in between. Test it with pressing spoon on it.
- Transfer to a container. Kairi (Kaccha Aam) ki Launji is ready.
