Ingredients
- ½ litre Milk
- 500 gms Grated Jaggery
- 5 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 2 tsp Cardamom
- 6 cup Wheat Flour
- ½ cup Dried Dates Powder
- ½ cup Coconut Powder
- ½ cup Almond Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ cup Ghee
- 4 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
Instructions
- Heat ½ litre Milk in a vessel for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame and remove the vessel from the stove.
- Now add 500 gms Grated Jaggery and mix it. It took 5 minutes. Keep it aside.
- Take a mixer grinder jar and add 5 tsp Fennel Seeds and 2 tsp Cardamom. Grind it to a coarse powder.
- Take a bowl and add 6 cup Wheat Flour, grinded powder, ½ cup Dried Dates Powder, ½ cup Coconut Powder, ½ cup Almond Powder, and 1 tsp Salt, mix them.
- Now add ½ cup Ghee and mix it thoroughly.
- Add 4 tsp Dry Ginger Powder and mix it thoroughly.
- Now add small quantities of Milk, mix it gently and form dough with all of it.
- Now take small amount of dough and give it a thick circle shape. Using rolling board and pin give a circle shape of roti, keep it thick.
- Roast it on a pan on both sides on low flame. It took 3 minutes.
- Repeat for all the dough. Dashmi is ready.
