Materials

  • 500 gms Amla / Indian Gooseberry
  • 600 ml Coconut Oil
  • 2 bunch Curry leaves
  • 2 nos Chopped Onion

Instructions

  • Take 500 gms Amla / Indian Gooseberry and grate it using grater.
  • Now take 600 ml Coconut Oil in an Iron Wok. Add grated Amla, 2 bunch Curry leaves and 2 nos Chopped Onion. Mix them all together.
  • Put on stove and heat on medium flame until the moisture gets evaporated. When colour gets dark, lower the flame and check if it is cooked perfectly.
  • Turn off the flame and remove the wok from stove. Let it cool down.
  • Separate oil using sieve. Just keep the cooked contents in sieve for 10-12 hrs until the oil gets separated. Amla Hair Oil is ready.
