  • Bowl

  • 1 cup Ragi Flour
  • 1 tsp Carom Seeds
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Melted Ghee


  • Take a bowl and add 1 cup Ragi Flour, 1 tsp Carom Seeds, ½ tsp Salt and 2 tbsp Melted Ghee. Mix it thoroughly.
  • Add small quantities of water and form dough. Close with lid and rest it for 30 minutes.
  • Take a small quantity of dough and make shape of mathri. Repeat and make from all the dough.
  • Now in a kadhai heat oil and then turn the flame to medium. Add couple of mathris and fry them from both sides. It take 2-3 minutes.
  • Collect in a plate after they get fried. Let it cool down. Ragi Mathri is ready.



Ragi Mathri can be stored in a container for 10-15 days. It can be for kids snacks tiffin.
