Rava Cake | Semolina Cake Recipe | How to make Eggless Suji Cake

Creating a delicious rava cake in your OTG is simpler than you might think. Here’s a step-by-step guide to crafting this delightful treat:

Begin by preheating your OTG to 180°C (350°F) to ensure it’s ready when your batter is prepared. While it heats up, take a cake tin and grease it evenly, ensuring your cake doesn’t stick after baking.

Once the batter is ready, pour it into the greased cake tin, spreading it evenly with a spatula. If desired, garnish the top of the cake with nuts for added texture and flavor.

Now, place the cake tin into the preheated OTG and bake for approximately 60 minutes. Keep an eye on the cake towards the end of the baking time, and use a toothpick inserted into the center to check for doneness. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready!

Once baked, carefully remove the cake from the OTG and allow it to cool in the tin for a few minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, slice your rava cake and serve it alongside a hot cup of tea or coffee for a delightful treat. Store any leftovers in an airtight container, where they will stay fresh for a couple of days at room temperature or longer if refrigerated.

Feel free to customize your rava cake by adding different flavors such as cardamom or saffron, adjusting the sweetness to your preference, or experimenting with various toppings like chocolate chips or shredded coconut.

Whether it’s for a special occasion or just a sweet indulgence, this homemade rava cake is sure to impress with its simplicity and delicious taste. Enjoy sharing it with family and friends, and savor the delightful flavors together!
