Salad Raita is a rich food as it contains raw vegetables with yoghurt. It tastes great along with chapati or rice. Kids also love eating this.

  • cup Chopped Cucumber
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrot
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomato
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • cup Chopped Corriander Leaves
  • 2 No.s Green Chilli Halved
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 cup Curd / Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 8-9 No.s Curry leaves


  • Take a bowl. Add Cucumber, Carrot, Tomato, Onion, Corriander Leaves, Green Chilli, Salt, Sugar, Yoghurt. Mix them thoroughly.
  • Take a small pan and heat oil. Add Mustard seeds, Cumin Seeds and curry leaves.
  • Add the fry to the salad mixtures as shown in the video and mix them.
  • Raita is ready to serve with Chapati or Rice.



Raita / Koshimbir can be preserved in refrigerator for two days.
