
Suji ke Modak

Suji ke Modak is a special and delicious, sweet for Ganesh Chaturthi. It also has dry fruits which makes the Modak more delicious. It can be made easily at home and it takes very less time.
Equipment
- 1 Non-Stick Pan
- 1 Spoon
- 1 Measuring Cups
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Modak Mould
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Suji Large size Semolina/Suji
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- ¼ Cup Dry Coconut
- 2 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- ¼ Cup Chopped Almonds
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
- 7 tbsp Milk Cream
Instructions
- Take a pan and heat Suji along with 2 tbsp of Ghee. Keep mixing gently while heating on a low flame.
- Heat until Suji becomes half cooked, it took around 5 Minutes.
- Add Dry Coconut, Pumpkin Seeds, Raisins and Chopped Almonds and mix gently. Heat until pinkish colors is seen on Suji, It took around 5 Mins after adding dry fruits.
- Add Cardamom Powder and Powdered Sugar. Mix thoroughly. It took around 1 min.
- Now add 5 tbsp Milk Cream and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.
- Turn off the flame and transfer the mixture to a different bowl. let it cool down for 5 mins.
- Add 2 tbsp of Milk Cream and mix it thoroughly.
- Take Modak Mould and apply ghee on the inner surface. Close the Mould and fill the mixture from the hole completely.
- Open and Mould and remove the Modak Gently. Repeat the process for remaining mixture. Suji ke Modak is ready.

Serve the Modak fresh for delicious taste. It can be stored for 1-2 days in room temperature.
